Olympus Teases New Camera…

Not to be outdone by all the awesome new cameras from Canon, Panasonic, and Nikon, Olympus is teasing a new model on its site. Could it be the E-P3?

Who knows, but judging that it’s being covered by one human hand, the new Olympus is very likely to be another 4/3 sensor camera aimed at fighting the Panasonic LMC-GF1, which coincidentally is the gadget I lust after above all others.

With models like the E-P1, Olympus has been a big player in the large sensor + small camera market. But with Panasonic, Leica, and Canon gaining a lot of ground there, it’s time to fight back.

I can’t wait to see what Olympus comes up with! I’m dying for a 4/3 camera but they’re too expensive for me right now. Oh well, maybe competition will drive the price down far enough for me…
